Tripp Moore of Two Men and A Truck of Charlotte is the recipient of the 2009 Mover of the Year Award.  He was presented the award by Robert Long, the 2008 recipient.  Tripp was also elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Association and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007.  He and his wife Christy have three sons.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Judy Marshburn of Piedmont Van and Storage in Fayetteville is the year's James T. Dorman Distinguished Service Award winner.  She was presented the award by the 1988 winner, Anne Horne. Stephanie Cox is the recipient of this year's NCMA Scholarship.  She was presented the award by Neal Matthews of Steele and Vaughn Movers, chairman of the Scholarship Committee.  Stephanie is a 2009 graduate of Southern Wayne High School.  She is currently a freshman at North Carolina State University, where he is majoring in Biology.    Stephanie plans on becoming a Physical Therapist.  She is the daughter of Fenton and Kathy Cox.  Kathy is Vice-President of Horne Moving Systems in Goldsboro.
